BACHO kids harvesting spinach

We are so happy!!

The BACHO kids are here harvesting spinach that they planted recently, and taking it to prepare their dinner. As you may recall, a few months ago, these children were devastated when an elephant had breached the wall of the compound and destroyed their vegetable garden. But thanks to the installation of strobe lights (thanks to fundraising by Sahaya International), elephants have been kept away at night. The kids have been working regularly in this garden the past few months and now they are reaping the benefits. More vegetables such as beans are still growing.
